Most Emailed Stuck at "of All Time"

Issue Summary

The "Most Emailed" block is currently stuck at "of All Time", while the Project page states that it can be set to Month, Week, Day, etc. Is this a bug or a feature that isn't available for Drupal 5 or am I missing something?

I've noticed that the Forward log doesn't delete on the same schedule as the rest of the statistics modules, matter-of-fact it doesn't seem to be deleting at all. Is there a way to clear the log up to a certain point (last to weeks) and is this linked to how the Most Emailed block pulls its information?
