For some reason I do not have the check box to select all in the admin/content/node list view.

I have tried uninstalling some other modules, but no luck. any ideas on what to look for?

do you have disabled js?

or do you have erros in some of your js scripts?

no, I have switched to other themes and still no luck. I have decided to start fresh with a 6.x version of the site.

Same issue here too (5.18).
It seems to be related to last misc/jquery.js (v. 1.2.6) from jquery_update but I cannot say more because of my poor javascript knowledge.

If your using jquery_update don't forget to re-replace the items in the misc folder.

had same issue on dr 5x
replacing items from jquery_update/misc to /misc worked fine!
