I installed the 6.x-2.x dev version and was glad to see that all parents of a menu entry were highlighted by the "active-trail" property. Then I duplicated all menu items into a second language (which is english while german being the base language), assigning a unique language to each menu entry. The menu source is "primary links". Now, changing the language from german to english results in the deletion of all "active-trail" markers while the path remains the same - except the language prefix.
Is it possible to keep the trail attribute persistent through all language versions?

As far as I see now, it was not Nice Menus, but Menu Trails (which I had installed before) printing the "active-trail" property. Creating separate menus for each language instead of separate entries within one menu block fixed the problem.
