Fails in language other than English

http://blog.michna.com/ (Drupal 6.11 at the time of this writing) has two languages, English and German, that can be switched with links in the top left block.
When the user switches the site to German and clicks on the "Images" tab, Node Images does not show at all, and thus no images can be attached. The page below the "Images" tab remains entirely empty.
Since I have no German translation for Node Images, it should show in English. Other add-on modules don't exhibit any such problem.
