Drupal 6.10
FCK Mod 1.3
FCK 2.6.4 Beta
OK, so I accidentally deleted some FCK mod files using ftp (stupid, I know!). Anyway, I thought I'd grab the 2.6.4 beta since I needed to reinstall. So I just uninstalled fck mod and fck editor, then deleted completely. Uploaded new fck mod, then uploaded editor. I've done this on many site installs, so it's in the proper place, ie; sites>all?modules>fckeditor>fckeditor. I go into site, run update, then into admin to fck. Here's the kicker: I go to enable it, and I can't. It shows up, I see it in modules>other... but just can't enable it, can't check the tick box.
Never had this problem before with any module. I uninstalled, deleted via ftp, then uploaded again, update.php... and same thing happens: it's there, can't click it to enable. Also, permissions are fine. Maybe it's the beta? Haven't tried the normal 2.6.4, but I really didn't think that would have any effect as the problem seems to be within Drupal or the FCK mod itself. I even moved to the modules folder rather than sites>all>modules, but it made no difference. I'm at a loss.
Anyone had this happen before? Any ideas? I desperately need it as we are doing major upgrades over the weekend, so any quick reply and help would be MUCH appreciated.
Thanks!!
Chris

Nevermind
Consider this closed... I fixed it. In case anyone has a similar problem, here's what happened: I am using the Ajax module that contains all in one. That module also contains a mod to use Ajax for FCK. Well, I had that module checked to use Ajax. For some reason, with it checked after new FCK install, it wouldn't let me enable FCK. I just unchecked Ajax for FCK, then I could enable FCK. Did that, then went back and enabled Ajax. That was it. I'll probably be the only one that ever has this problem... knowing me. But in case anyone else does, this is what worked. As a note: If you upgrade of install FCK, uncheck ALL modules that have any reference to FCK, no matter what it is. Then do your FCK install... and you'll be fine.
