Using this module for automated QA?

I was wondering whether we could make a case for using this module to provide suggestions for improvement to contributed modules in a nightly snapshot fashion. Every module that is being uploaded to CVS (whether they be development version or otherwise) could be hauled through this module automatically and provide coding suggestions. This will enable maintainers to focus on design issues rather than latent coding issues. Was this idea ever coined?
