Deleting the comment node does not update comment_count

I found a strange scenario when deleting node comments,

to reproduce:

1. create a comment
2. open the comment node
3. instead of clicking the quick delete link, use edit tab and delete:
the problem:
- comment count becomes wrong (does not update)
- no confirmation before deletion.
