Steps:
Enable spaces, spaces_og, og
Create a new OG type. Set the body field label to "Description".
Create a new node of that type. Fill in data.
Infinite loop

Just ran into this myself. I initially called the body Description, and then when I saw OG already created a description field, I just disabled the body (by making the field name blank). I discovered the loop issue after this and wasted twenty minutes trying to figure out what the hell was wrong before I discovered this issue. Obviously, this shouldn't even be physically possible - something is very wrong here.

We've now gone two months without a reply to this critical issue.

BTW, I can't find any way at all to fix this, even after changing the name of the body field. I am completely unable to use space_og on my site. Ugh.
