Reverse AJAX is better suited for a One-to-One communication while the aim of this module is to dispense new information to many clients. Using reverse AJAX requires a server connection and would tie up the web server.
Thanks for the suggestion, I might in the future build another module for this kind of communication.
It's been awhile since last upadtes in this thread,
I was wondering if any new works had been done on pushing data to multiple clients,
any modules that perhaps could take advantage of services like lightstreamer.com
