I have a site running, and all of the themes in the root/themes show a preview png, and seem to load and work fine. The themes I added in sites/all/themes however are visible, but don't display the preview, and when loaded look almost like they're in 'wire frame' mode...but they're not.

I'm quite sure it's a permissions issue, because if I take the same theme out of sites/all...and put it in root/themes...everything works fine.

I'm wracking my brain...but so far doing no good...any suggestions? What are the 'correct' file permissions for the sites/all/themes ?

Thanks

Mark

Well, as I lay sleeping I had a eureka moment. My site is in a subdir, so I went to the settings file, and set the document root............that wasn't it?? H E L P

My sites/all/* is 755.

I am having the same issue. It seems to not recognize the theme just for the subdomain install, when placed in the sites/all/themes folder.

If I move it to the root themes folder, it works. And it works under the all folder for my other main drupal setups. So the theme is functional. Just something about the subdomain not reading the all/themes folder.

I am facing exactly the same problem described above.

How do you guys solved the problem?

Thanks in advance!

I have a site running under a sub domain. I purchased a theme and extracted in the sites/all/themes folder. It doesn't get listed in the theme listing, the listing shows only the core themes. Funny However the same theme gets listed if the drupal site is configured as a top level domain.

Would like to hear from others on how they solved this problem.
