Conflict with hierarchical select

I'm experiencing a conflict when a hierarchical select element is placed inside a draggable view. The HS element claims 'javascript is not enabled', and the draggable view breaks. I'm using node gallery (http://drupal.org/project/node_gallery) for this, and once you upload your images, they are arranged in a column with draggable views. Each image is assigned a set of taxonomy terms through Hierarchical Select. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if there's any way around it. I'm using all the most recent module releases. Thanks!
