Hi.
I would like to know if there is any way you can make that the select input of rol and Content Type can be a multiple select, cause some times we use the same limits to diferent roles or content types.
And in the list of node limit rules we can see a title, the content type and the limit, but I can't see to which role this rule has been assigned. Can you add an extra column with that information?
Thanks again.

davedelong commentedYes, eventually. I've tried to structure the schema so that it can support multiple roles or content types (thereby eliminating the need to create a bunch of virtually identical rules), but it's on hold for right now until I can work out this whole organic groups mess.
As for listing them in the table, I'll see what I can do.

mairav commentedOk Dave.
It will be great if you can do this things, so we don't have duplicated rules for diferent users. By the way, we don't need a multiple select, a check list would be fine too :P
The listing would be great too cause since we dont' have the multiple select I'll have a lot of rules to edit, and for now I'll have to add in the title the role to which that rule has been assigned.
Thanks for your help.

mairav commentedDid someone manage to create a multiple select input for content types or roles?
I have several roles that have a 1 node limit for x content type, and as I don't have a multiple select for the role, I have to create one rule for each of the roles.
And, on the other hand, I have the same limit of 5 nodes for several content types shared by two roles. Now I have to create 10 rules, when with only one, I would give the limit for this two roles with five content types.
Can anyone help me?

ifoundthetao commentedI'm with you here. I'm not too familiar with the Form API, but I'm currently trying to make it so that I can have multiple types of content fall under the same limit. I'm thinking about jumping ship and going to Node Limit Number though.
The reason why I like this module is because of the UI, since I'm not going to be the one maintaining the site, I want to make sure it's as easy as can be. But I might just have to do some training instead.

duaelfrAt this point, this issue is going to be marked as won't fix. This is either not in the direction of the project, or too out of the project scope.
