When I enable the paging module it seems to prevent sending data to google analytics, when I shut the module off analytics seems to work normally. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I use both paging and google analytics on some D5 sites without a problem. I'd recommend updating to the lastest version of google analytics and see if that solves your problem - if not perhaps it's time for an upgrade to Drupal 6 or even Drupal 7.

Sadly, there will be no more maintenance on the D5 branch of the paging module, so marking this issue closed.
