Hey,

I've come across a conflict where if I have a facebook app created (active) all my wysiwyg's are disabled or simply cannot display. If I delete my facebook app the problem goes away. As soon as I create another facebook app any wysiwyg (htmlbox, wysiwyg api, tinymce, fckeditor and bueditor) will not work. Really not sure what the conflict is. I've tried turning off the 'facebook connect script on every page' box but to no avail.

Anyone else experiencing this? Any hint of what could be causing the conflict? I've done everything I can think of to try and fix this on my end. I'm about to go live with this site and I wanted the facebook app to be up simultaneously but I simply can't have anything prevent my users from using their wysiwyg. Other than this one issue everything else is working a-OK. So thanks a bunch to Dave!

Do all browsers have this problem and does firebug report any error?

At least in FF 2, 3 as well as safari. Have yet to try explorer however the users who first reported this issue are using windows.

I can't find any errors myself but I'm no good with JS if this is the case. Here's my site (http://lc3.figureandground.net). I've setup an account with the username & password "demo". After you've logged in click on "content" and then "post blog" (from the black drop-down menu). html box should show up in the body field. I'll leave the fb app on until you take a look at it. Thanks Dave!

Abandoning D5 and going to test the D6 version now.

Moved on to D6 and my users do not notice this behavior at all.

Status: Active » Closed (won't fix)

Since Drupal 5 is no longer supported, I'm taking the liberty to close all FB D5 issues. Issues that haven't moved since D5 are unlikely to still be valid.
