Is there a way to intelligently include the last updated date and time of a node (only if the node has indeed been modified of course)?

i.e. "Posted January 1 by John Doe" for a node that's never been edited, and "Posted January 1 by John Doe and updated January 9" for one that has?

I can give you these tokens, but a variable format is difficult due to translation. The code shown in that other issue has been committed.

There is now a token for ['created-updated'] the will give you the created date, and if the updated date is different, the updated date. It uses the system small date format only. created 03/27/2009 - 13:35, updated 05/25/2009 - 21:14 The words "created" and "updated" are translatable.
