When I read a bible, I am likely to take notes. It would be great if it was possible to add a note to a verse, chapter, etc and have a section where I can review notes somehow. Is that a feature that you are considering?

On a Christian community site, it could then be made possible to have users share notes with each other.

Yes, I'm thinking about this feature, too. But I got a little trouble: how to show the note. At the first, I try to create a "BibleNote" note type, well, there got to make more effort. If you can give me some idea, that will be great and fast for me to finish this work.

I have been searching for something that could help and I have found the following:

Annotate - http://drupal.org/project/annotate

I haven't touched PHP in a long time, but the functionality of the module above seems to cover what's needed to make bible accept notes. I don't know how the modules can work together, so I will leave that to you.

Please try latest version. There's a new function of BibleNotes. This should fit your need.
