Date field is not displayed with user's profile information

I have installed date module and added date field to Profile content type. While registering user is asked to choose his\her DOB using that field. The information is successfully stored in Profile, which can be checked after the account is created. But the info is not displayed with other information on user's main account main view, the view, where all Profile fields information are shown (user/uid page). It is only visible, on the edit user profile page, which is not what I would like it to be as I need other users to be able to see this information as well...
