Most of the pages on a new site I'm close to finishing are made up of panels and it's time to put in place 301 redirects from the pages of the old pre-drupal site to the new one. However I can't see anyway of adding in redirects within panels.

Am I missing something obvious, or is this not yet possible?

Just realised that I actually need to use the Path Redirect module instead http://drupal.org/project/path_redirect
