Just a question: What's holding back a 1.0 release? #337103: "The directory cache/simplepie does not exist" & "simplepie.inc file missing"? Or lack of time? Or ... ?

SimplePie Core 6.x-1.0-beta1 was released yesterday, and 6.x-1.0 will be released once I've gotten more familiar with the code and have possibly cleaned it up a bit more. :)
