I just upgraded to CCK 6.x-2.2. If the tabs are used, then the ordering/weight of the fields in the 'basics' tab are all broken (ordering are ignored).
Only by disabling this module is the error reverted.
(This was working with CCK 6.x-2.1)

Update: CCK 6.x-2.2 contains changes to field grouping - so this module is not compatible. You must use CCK 6.x-2.1

I'd appreciate a patch or suggestions as to what work is needed to upgrade.

Sorry, I don't know what the exact changes were. I just reverted the CCK back to 6.x-2.1.

The release notes has at least a couple of Fieldgroup items.

I can't reproduce this issue. Perhaps it was fixed by recent changes to this module and tabs module.

Please reopen with steps to reproduce if the issue reappears.
