It would be nice if this module could integrate with messaging. Messaging integrates with notifications to deliver updates through various mediums, it would be great if IM was one of those mediums.

Yeah, Messaging is great - if I'm thinking of the right module (by Jose of DevSeed?). I really like that concept, and it would be cool if this little IM dude could become part of the protocols it supports.
