I am new to Drupal and have just completed an install, including an install of the e-commerce and associated supporting modules (e-commerce, tokens, views, rules, views_bulk operations).

I am following an e-book guide to establishing an e-commerce site.

The modules menu includes all options, including Product API (which has been checked as it is core).

However, the "E-commerce Products Type" category is missing from the page / menu. I am therefore unable to activate the products which I would like to sell on the site.

Any help greatly appreciated!

e-Commerce 6.x-4.x has changed a lot since the 5.x-3.x and most likely a lot of things has been changed.

The product types is set up in

Administer > e-Commerce configuration > Products > Types

This will allow you to set up product types.
