The 'delete' operation is missing from menu items created by taxonomy_menu ('edit' is not missing), for example in Secondary Links. How can I delete a menu item, without uninstalling the module (which works)?

When menu items are created by another node the delete item is not available. To remove the Taxonomy Menu, go to the vocab edit page and select "Disabled" for the Menu selection. When you save it, the menu should disappear.
