Does this module enable me to create entirely separate prices for different roles? I cannot use a $ or % off discount because the prices are not uniformly different. The prices would probably have to come from extra CCK fields added to the node.

role based discounts exist as either a price addition or multiplier.
If you want completely different prices per role, that may be outside the scope of this module.
