In an effort to cut down on comment spam, I blocked users from registering with gmail.com addresses. I know this seems harsh, but nearly all the spammers hitting my site were using gmail addresses. I did this with the following access rule pattern:
%@gmail.com
Next, I would like to block users with email addresses ending in .ru from registering. I thought this would work but it does not:
%@%.ru
I could look at the code to check the reason, but maybe someone can offer a simple solution instead?
