I installed drupal 4.3.1 clean onto a sun ultra 5 running openbsd 3.4 with mysql 3.23.57, php 4.3.3 and apache 1.3.28. The first few clicks things were working find. Upon clicking around, the default theme disappeared. Currently, when I click on themes the following message apears in apache's error_log: "[notice] child pid 28147 exit signal Bus error (10)" Any ideas on how to fix this?

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could approach debugging this?

Is there some debug mode in drupal or even in php?

The only activity I see in the logs was noted above.
Is there any further informaiton I should be including in this report?

On a different note, am I the only one who is unable to change my password on this site? It keeps saying I need to enter and email, depite that fact that there is a valid email in the box.

Thank you.

I'm bumping this up in the vain hope that some one will provide some ideas on how I could debug and fix this... I'll even settle for just getting it fixed. However, there has been no reponse to this request. To elimiate the obvious, yes, I've also reinstalled.

I would appreciate any help.

PS: I still can't change my password on this site... weird.

which may be the reason that nobody answered yet. because nobody is running drupal on a sun / freebsd.

did you google for your error message? how about this one? search the php bugs database? apache bugs?
