I created a German translation for the trackback module and I wanted to share it with you. If you are interested I can maintain der German translation for future releases as well.

Hi widhalmt, thank you for your translation.
Only one question: why is your translation .pot and not ".po" like all other Drupal translations? Can you re-upload the .po translation (maybe based on 6.x-1.x-dev branch, cause 6.x-1.1 can't be edited and I can't add your translation).

Hm... since i'm rather new to translations, I might have messed up some thing. I'll try to fix it and reupload it - using 6.x-1.x-dev.

Hi again,
I matched the tranlation with 6.x-1.x-dev and created a .po file. I could import it into Drupal without errors and TrackBack seems to be translated to the full extent.
If there is still a mistake, please be patient. I try to get used to translations but it's still new to me.
