Sivaji,
Attached is a module that does QTI parsing and importing. It uses QueryPath, so that is a dependency.
We should probably figure out if this would be a good fit to add to the questions_import module. I'll let you determine what is best. If you want, we can leave this as a separate module. Or we can add hooks to questions_import. Or you can integrate it entirely into questions_import.module.

Thanks mbutcher. I have ported this patch to questions_import module. Changing the status to need review.

There is no issue reported pertaining to this, changing its status to fixed.

I like the idea mbutcher proposed of making hooks in the questions_import module. That way each format for importing could be selectively enabled, as some are more reliable than others.
