Issue Summary
I haven't implemented the views stuff in D6, but I'm well on top of what I need to do.
I believe the 'needs rebuild' method I've employed in the D6 port will be unsuitable as we cannot rely on an admin to be always creating the products.
I will see what I can do about this.
