Im running a forum with the advanced module but, i looking for something
I have 5 different topics: nokia, blackberry, sony, lg, apple... and inside each topic the users can talk about.. ok
if a user create a "new topic" inside one of the others, the icon change and mark that there is a new post.
but, if a user just reply or add something to a existing topic/post nothing happends..

I have to enter to each topic (blackberry, nokia, sony, lg, etc) to then see if there is a new reply to one of the post..

Is there a way that the icon of the topic names (Blackberry, nokia, etc) change also when someone just reply a post ??
it do it if someone create a new post, but not if someone reply one.
is there a module that do this ? change the icon with just replies ?
that way i dont have to enter each topic to see if theres something new.

4.6 is very old... I don't think you'll find anything for that anymore. If you can upgrade your site to D6, you can use Advanced Forum, which has an option to show new replies as well as new topics. It would be a good idea to upgrade either way as 4.6 isn't supported anymore.

My mistake.. im using 6.11..

The advanced forum module change the folder icon only when someone create a new post, not when someone just reply a existing one..

if you enter to:
http://php.rincontecno.com/desktop/?q=forum

you see that i have some folders, but to see if someone reply a topic inside of one of the folders, i have to enter to the folder, then i can see that is in red.

any module or way to fix this ?

As I said, it's an option. If it isn't working, my guess is you haven't turned it on.

Hi Michelle ~ I have the same problem, and it's not quite clear to me how we can enable this option. There is nothing under "Advanced Forum" that I could decipher as being responsible for this feature. Could you please specify?
