GMap View Showing title on the map or numbering the markers and having a legend

I'm needing the map view to display the title on the map beside the or have a number displayed in or next to the marker and a block with the number and the legend. I'm trying to make this dynamic so that when nodes are created they will show up accordingly. Is this possible in a view?
