My drupal test site was working fine. Now every time I run Cron I get the following message.

* The selected file C:\wamp\tmp\fil78.tmp could not be copied.
* The selected file C:\wamp\tmp\fil79.tmp could not be copied.
* The selected file C:\wamp\tmp\fil7A.tmp could not be copied.

Any thoughts. Thanks

I get the same error messages, only it's not the test site :-/

I did install new modules as we're still rolling out (it's just a hobby site), but the error doesn't seem to be related: it only popped up after a while, and removing the recently installed modules didn't solve it. When I update, the error goes away for a few minutes but after loading a few pages there it is again - annoying!

*edit with more information.

IIS machine, administered by a third party so I don't have access to the privilege settings

My temp directories in admin > settings > file system is set correctly ( sites/default/temp ) but I'm not sure if permissions are set correctly; server admin is asked to check. But the error message points to the Windows temp directory; so where does it tell Drupal to look there?

I haven't been able to get the upload and image upload modules working (probably an unrelated permission error, but possibly related). I tried disabling all of those but that didn't work.

Any help would be appreciated!

I rolled my installation back; prior to upgrade and installation of the Ad Module v6.x-2.1. The problem is gone now. Do posters also have this version of the Ad Module installed?

I am using version 6.x-2.2, everytime when I click Ad global setting: Flush cached data, i got the following message. If I change number of cached file to 5, it will display 5 lines of the following message.

The selected file C:\wamp\tmp\fil18E0.tmp could not be copied.
The selected file C:\wamp\tmp\fil18E1.tmp could not be copied.
The selected file C:\wamp\tmp\fil18E2.tmp could not be copied.
