I just upgraded a site to 4.3.0 recently, and just noticed that the content settings don't seem to work properly anymore. In admin >> content >> settings, I unchecked the "Publish" option for all content types (the site uses blog, image, and static page content modules), yet everything is still automatically published.

The admin tool reports the correct settings, but they are not being executed correctly on the node/add/x form. Before I dive into the code or open a bug report, has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix already out there?

The site is running on a shared unix platform with safe mode on/MySql/PHP 4.3.2.

I am having same problem. When I uncheck "published" in admin-content-setting and go to "add story", it still show checked "published".

I can't get into the website you listed above.

Could anyone explain the problem for me? And how to fix? Many thanks
