i installed counter module and it displays something like below:
Counter
Site Counter: 112
Unique Visitor: 1
Registered Users: 1
Unregistered Users: 0
Published Nodes: 25
Unpublished Nodes: 0
Server IP: 127.0.0.1
Your IP: 127.0.0.1
Since: 2009-05-14 04:28
what i want is not like this type of counter...
i want something like "you are the 7th visitor today"
or giving statistics regarding the vistors hits for the web...
Can anybody give a suggestion?

The counter is in a block and has to be placed on the page.
goto: administer > Site building > blocks find the counter block and select where it to be shown (save) then click open the link next to the block "configure" go down to the section "page specific visibility settings" , choose mode(radio buttons) and add the page path(s) where it is to show.
u might get faster or better help if you can make a more descriptive subject line.. I scan the subjects for items I can help with.. have fun, dave

thanks for your information....i have done that earlier....my problem is i don't want sort of that to be displayed...instead a very short note indicating "you are the 7th visitors"...something like that.
