2) It would also be nice & easy (for the end user) if it were possible to add a filter at the top of the moderation page so the user could filter by content type, and/or by content status (i.e. published, unpublished).

I need the moderation function just for one node type that is submitted by anonymous users. Other node types, submitted by authorized users, shouldn't appear in my list.
