Description
Thanks for coding this, but the truth is that if someone would apply the most recent patches here to 4.6 and/or CVS:
they wouldn't need to install this module.
I wish someone would... the bug's been open for over a year... patches have been written,
and yet, certain people insist it's not broken... despite the obvious need now for a _module_ to attempt to fix it.
Please don't close this bug... this module is not the right to fix the problem, and I'd like to see this module obsoleted.

I'll second this. There seems to be a lot of complicated discussion about breaking content, etc. The fact of the matter is that 4.7 is still very new, and I can't upgrade many of my sites to it until folks have more experience with it. At the same time, my users become completely baffled when an utterly straightforward HTML feature like anchor links fails to work for them in 4.6. We need to do whatever needs to be done to permit relative links to work properly in 4.6.
