Is there any way to link Drupal to Owl (the document management system)? I have a lot of pdf files that I would like to store in Owl and have them linked as part of content in Drupal. That way the user can bring up any document shown as a link in the content?

Thanks

Owl or KnowledgeTree. If I were a (good) developer...
Thanks,

I am also very interested in something of this nature. The only other reference I could find was on the OWL sourceforge site http://sourceforge.net/forum/message.php?msg_id=3388892 but it doesn't seem to have come any further.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Hell yea!!

I've been looking for a much more powerful module than Drupal's taxonomy system.

I have similar needs, a very large document repository (pdfs, images, etc) and was looking for ways to link it to the web and have a Drupal site running on top. I need much more powerful taxonomies to link my content in many ways and draw relationships between documents.

OWL seems like the answer to this question, but we need a module that provides OWL functionnality in Drupal or something.

Hi,

eventually filedepot (http://drupal.org/project/filedepot) might be a the right solution for you!
The developer company also provides a desktop client and it is nicely integrated into Drupal!

We're using it in several Projects vom http://www.webks.de and http://www.drowl.de
Currently we can not see an alternative, even if there is still a lot of space in developing a good DMS for Drupal. Thank you for your hint to OWL and Knowlegetree, I will have a deeper look at it soon.
