Ok. I had the same problem as well. To fix this, sort of, I had to go to the Configure LDAP Server options and make sure the "Base DN" I had in there was the one that my users were located in within Active Directory. My problem is that Our users are spread over different Groups and adding multiple DNs didn't work. At least not yet.
The non-user data that you're seeing are groups in active directory that are located in the System group. I'm not sure why this data is returned. You may be getting something different but it did sound like the same issue I had.
However, I was able to change the "Base DN" to ones from AD that had the users in them, and the search returned the correct values. I am working to get this setup for our company and I should have more updates to come. This is a note that this module does work. There is just alot of figuring out that has to be done due to lack of documentation.
I will try to update others if I have any further luck or patches available.

i have the same problem here.. i have to use multiple base DN's aswell as multiple dn's for the OU search box.
do you have a solution or patch already?
