Users cannot login with e-mail address

Issue Summary

Hi,

I have the setting enabled: "Allow users to login using their e-mail address". However, none of my users are able to login with their email address. Logging in with username is no problem.

Is this a bug or what could it be?

Status:active» postponed (maintainer needs more info)

try disabling all other contributed modules and see if the problem still persists.
