Access denied when creating an issue for a project that uses organic groups

Ok, based on my limited view, og/project couple seems to be the most problematic.. Yet with the latest few patches I see most of the things do work, and I hope the following might have some easy fix:

This issue is users, non-admin but bestowed with necessary permissions, get the Access Denied error for /node/add/project-issue/% link. This is the case with all possible og settings for group node usage (there are 4: "Group Node", "May not be posted into a group", "Standard group post", "Wiki group post"). Tested with today's project 1.x-dev, and og "6.x-2.0-rc1".

Any ideas where to look? This is also posted on og issues..
