I am interested in testing out citizenspeak, however, I've not been able to successfully install the module. Are there steps aside from installing the mysql database and dropping the module file into the module folder? The download file does not include instructions.

You need to enable it in the Administer -> Modules. Once you do that you should see some administrative options in Administer -> Settings -> CitizenSpeak, and you'll see CitizenSpeak as a node type when you go to add new content. You should also review the permissions.

I've added install.txt with some directions on getting started in case other people run in to problems.
