I am not sure if this is a bug, or something decided by design, but I am trying to change the image uploaded to the SagePay (former Protx) Direct Payment Gateway for Ubercart which I own and I am unable to do so. Everything goes fine without an error, new revision is created but the old image remains.

I am sorry, but I still can't upload a new image. I tried several times since the removal of the old image on #1 but always unable. The saving of the project goes just fine but no image is displayed. Can you please try and see if you can upload anyone yourself? This is the image I am trying to upload: http://www.sagepay.com/images/sagepay-logo.png

The fact that he can edit the project page and not upload images is odd. Someone above my role will have to look at this.

I don't know if this means something, but the original maintainer of the module is solarian. I would expect that everybody is able to add an image to the project he is maintaining, anyway.

Well, although is changed, it wasn't me, but someone else from this issue. All the times I tried I couldn't. I guess I can try again and report back soon.

Well, actually this is somehow an active issue. Definitely not an important one, but active at last. I am still unable to change the project image. Everything seems to be uploaded fine but the image remains always the same. It may have something to do that the ownership of the project changed to me and somehow the permission to upload images didn't, but just thinking out loud.

I have a very related issue: I am the co-maintainer of a project, and can't add an image to the project description page. I can upload it, but when I save it does not appear anywhere, and I can't see how I personally can place it in the content either (I don't have an "attach" button like in the comments here for instance). See screenshot.

The project is Certify and the main maintainer for the project has the same problem as me (we are coworkers). You can also see the four latest revisions where I have tried to attach an image on each.

Actually, it looks like I (I'm the maintainer of Certify) can change the image. So it's probably a role issue somehwere.

I'm also having trouble adding images to project nodes. In my case, I don't see the "Attached images" field at all. Saving a project node that already had an image, removed the image.

The two projects I've tested on were apachesolr_search and zombiekiller. I've temporarily added the images inline using the Documentation input format.

I believe that only vetted git users who [usually] go through the Drupal.org project application process are able to attach images to a project page.

I've also noticed that non-vetted users are not able to see or enable/disable automated testing for their module(s).

Users who had CVS access are already vetted users. If there were the case, hanooi should be able to change the image for the project he maintains.

It could be a permission issue, but it's not clear which one.

I can confirm that I can now see and edit the image field and add images to all of my projects (I am the primary maintainer of one and the co-maintainer of the other two).

I still can't see or change the option to enable or disable automated testing for my projects, but that should probably be a separate issue.
