Blocks added to the promo banner region of a page using the austin theme are not styled. See http://drupalshowdown.com/ for an example of the promo banner / slider text styling that should be applied.

Not able to place content along the logo.
The content placed in 'PROMO BANNER' block is not shown in output.

The Promo Banner on the cmsshowdown site relies heavily on views and views-cycle modules. I'm not easily able to reproduce that functionality without a both those modules installed and specific field names in the database. If I can come up with a way to allow this without those modules I will spend time incorporating the styling in.

However, I did notice that default text added into that region wasn't getting the font Georgia applied b/c originally it was just set on #mission. I change it so the whole region applies the Georgia (Serif) font stack.
