APK is all converted to Panels 3 but I ran into a problem where everything looked right but the user page wasn't being replaced by the Panels page and now I can't reproduce it. Before I make an Alpha, I need people to test the dev snapshot so I can see if this was a one off glitch or a repeatable problem.

This is what you need (in addition to normal requirements):
CCK latest dev
Author Pane latest dev
Content profile latest dev + the changes in #430220: improve Panels 3 relationship

Install everything normally and tell me if the user profile page is overridden or if you see the core profile stuff.

If you've never used APK and are not familiar with setting it up, this isn't the best time to help out. I need folks that have done it before so I can be fairly confident the page not showing up is due to this glitch and not user error.

Seems OK on a clean test site install, using all the dev versions and patches above.

Thanks, callisto. I'm going to go ahead and roll an alpha after the kids go to bed tonight, with the caveat that we still haven't pinned down what caused that weirdness. It is alpha, though, with all the caveats that already go along with that. ;)

it works well EXCEPT panels and image_assist argue with java i think, i had to disable image_assist
used the latest versions of apk, chaostools, panels and dev cck.

Well, I can't do anything about image assist. I'm just trying to track down the handler issue.

I didn't get an alpha out tonight. Got sidetracked with css issues in SocNet 6. Will try tomorrow.

From what i was understanding from another thread merlinofchaos was in about the image_assist issue, its image assist /shrug, i am not sure. Anyways the imagefield / filefield is a much better combo hehe.

As your request, I try to install APK by the way you mentioned.

But I discover that "My posts" pane doesn't show right information.

I had try to resolve this problem through Views UI, and I think apk_user_posts should be right.

is it because of Panels 3?
