Is there a micro-blog module?

You know, something that enables people to be able to the answer the question Where are you (going)? or something.

if there isn't i suppose i could just enable the 'title' element of a post .

You might also be able to use http://identi.ca/ (a stand-alone application, not Drupal) and glue it to your Drupal site with the Twitter module ( http://drupal.org/project/twitter ).

The Facebook-style Statuses module is a complete solution for this that doesn't use nodes and has a lot of nice extra features.

The module you have mentioned above doesn't have the key functionality for a complete microblog → followers and following subscribers.

It does if you also have the Flag module or the User Relationships module installed.
