I know it's an old one but on this issue http://drupal.org/node/68246, you said "I'd accept a patch that included an checkbox under the group visibility settings fieldset to "hide this block from non group members" or something, rather than hard-coding this to show it on open/moderated groups and hiding it on invite-only/closed groups."
I am using OG Block Visibility to show a group menu which I don't want to be seen by non-group members, but I need users to be able to subscribe to them, so I'd very much like to have this feature. Unfortunately I am no coder and I can't offer a patch and

thepanz commentedI'm re-opening this issue: I needed a fast and an easy way to accomplish this feature without using other modules and I've implemented it. Included also the [#/811088] patch.
