I got a VPS, which has 768MB dedicated RAM and can be bursted to 1.5G. Only one drupal site is hosted on this VPS. Probably i will set up a backup site to test my changes before applying to the live site.

So this VPS will have only one live site, one backup site. What should be the optimal settings for the live site? memory limits, etc.,

Here are more details:

cPanel, WHM
Installed and configured zend optimizer and eAccelerator
768MB Dedicated RAM (1.5GB Burstable)
1TB Bandwidth
Cent OS 5.x
Drupal 6.11

TIA.

I expect this site should run much faster. But seems like it is slower than the same site that is hosted on shared environment without the zend, eAccelerator installed.

Here is what it says:

Grade B on Make fewer HTTP requests
This page has 5 external stylesheets. Try combining them into one.

Grade F on Use a Content Delivery Network (CDN)
There are 19 static components that are not on CDN.

Grade E on Add Expires headers
There are 4 static components without a far-future expiration date.

Grade E on Compress components with gzip
There are 4 plain text components that should be sent compressed

Grade F on Configure entity tags (ETags)
There are 13 components with misconfigured ETags

Rest of them are Grade A. How do i fix these? any links?

I also checked the mysql queries, which are running fine:
Executed 136 queries in 50.91 milliseconds. Queries taking longer than 2 ms and queries executed more than once, are highlighted. Page execution time was 1013.58 ms.

But since i enabled eAccelerator cache, should it not get from database? or since i am trying as a logged in user, it would get from database?
