I use OGUR and OG subgroups and trying to create a subgroup using the OGURS's "Create subgroup" link. I get to create a group but the group doesn't fall under the supposed parent group or any other parent group for that matter. It falls under a new book, even though a "sub group" node type is used. As user 1, opening the "Book outline field set, no Book is pre-elected. What can cause this?

I looked at the og_subgroups module, and in particular this thread: http://drupal.org/node/345950

So far, it appears that there is no clear cut way to insert the parent item into a subgroup when it is created. If someone else has more info on this, please contribute. But, it appears that there isn't a solution to this right now. It also appears that the maintainer is yet again looking to re-write the way the module handles it's subgroup hierarchies.

Thank you @SomebodySysop for the referenced thread. I can see that this is no easy task, and in times like these I wish I'd be able to contribute in the field of coding.

After the rise of the rewritten OGUR 4.x for Drupal 6, in which many unrelated features of OGUR were removed, and nearing a release of Drupal 7, I'm closing down old issues.
