On the AddThis site there is discussion of a known bug involving the email form disappearing when you try to type in it. The site mentions the Drupal version not having this bug. However, my Drupal installation of AddThis does have this problem, at least in Firefox. What is the solution? Also, clicking on the Twitter icon does not result in the node URL being populated in the Tweet box. It just takes me to my Twitter page.

m.e. commentedAny help with this issue, please? (I have removed the Twitter bug report; when I just tested again, it worked. Email form is still broken.)

dbeall commentedHi m.e., lol.. I was just browsing, saw this, so I tryed mine to see if it worked.
It does work, but is touchy.. i had to carefully open it, fill in the boxes,, I did loose it 3 times. But when it came back, the boxes were still filled in and it did send me the test mail

vesapalmu commentedI don't think this has anything to do with the module. It's very likely to be addthis.com issue.
Do you have any additional information about this?

m.e. commentedYes, I can get it to work that way, too. But my client - and their site visitors - are not going to be impressed by a module that requires so much waving of chicken bones in the full moon. :) A fix would be most welcome. The AddThis documentation seems to imply one is already integrated into the Drupal module, but I'm not seeing it.

m.e. commentedInstalling the latest version (2.7) just now solved this problem. I selected lightbox support for the "more" link, and that put the e-mail form in a lightbox also. It stays visible and works as nearly as I can tell; however, now I have another issue. Following the dispatch of the email appears a big honking promotion to put AddThis in my browser. This will confuse my client's site visitors and I would like to remove it, or at the very least reword it. How?

vesapalmu commentedAgain, this is out of our control. After clicking addthis button on a site you will be redirected to service provided by addthis.com. Please direct your question to addthis.com support.

m.e. commentedI ended up removing the e-mail feature from AddThis and installed the Drupal "Print" module instead to handle e-mail and print functions.
