I installed the serach files module and also installed the pdftotext helper application for windows in c: drive
I had given the helper path as c:\xpdf\pdftotext.exe %file% - But it didnt work for me .. the search yields no results ..
i searched the blogs and changed the path as c:\\windows\\system32\\cmd.exe /c c:\\xpdf\\pdftotext.exe c:/Program Files/AC:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs\drupal\sites\default\files/%file% - .. but nothing is working for me..
Could anybody please help me to solve this problem. I don't know where I went wrong.

Hi Tamil,

Stick with the original path you tried, that works well under Windows (though I still have had no sucess with directory indexing).

Have you tried re-indexing your site after changing the settings? Files uploaded prior to changing the helper path will not be re-indexed otherwise.
